Scarlett Award

The Scarlett Award is a nation wide

competition for Australian professional

and non professional critics, artists and

writers. It gives all the opportunity to

contribute reviews about sculpture

exhibitions or public art installations;

whether that is a solo, group, or a major

event within Australia.  All reviews will be

judged over the lead up period to Lorne

Sculpture Biennale 2014 and a Cash

award of $5,000 will be presented to the

best-written review at the LSB2014

opening on the Saturday 8th March 2014.

Award Information and Guidelines

Public Art In Ballarat

Julie is currently contracted to the City of

Ballarat as their Public Art Coordinator at

2 days a week. Current projects are

Open Monument commission by John

Young and Times Two Architects,

Unicorn Lane Gallery and the Bakery Hill

Commission, amongst many.

Small Town Transformation

Julie is currently putting together an

application for Regional Arts Victoria's

Small Town Transformation for our town

Napoleons. 5  grants for $350,000 are

being offered across Victoria for arts

related projects. Fingers crossed.
